Help preserve traditional marriage and the family as designed by God.
Stop divorce and family disintegration.
For now, and for the generations after us.
Who We Are:
The Institute for Family Preservation (IFP) is a non-profit, faith-based organization that exists to help couples create strong marriages, assist families in reaching optimal levels of emotional/spiritual functioning, and help parents raise spiritually and emotionally healthy children. IFP provides support to individual family members in overcoming personal problems like anger, depression, and anxiety.
Mightyfamily.org serves as the public outreach ministry of IFP.
What We Do:
We offer a comprehensive collection of self-help articles and videos (coming soon) addressing the many problems of individual, marriage and family life. New articles/videos are added weekly.
All resources are offered free of charge.
Online Classes
We provide classes designed to strengthen all family relationships. Including: classes for preparing teens for safe/healthy dating, preparing engaged couples for strong marriages, and classes designed to strengthen marriage, family and parenting skills--all taught from a Christian worldview.
Research
IFP surveys/interviews couples and family members to identify the ever-changing problem areas in marriage and family life. Effective solutions to these problems are then developed and made available to the public in web-based and printed form.
